Twenty-five students from UTHS signed up to job shadow Career Professionals in East Moline and Silvis.  For the past 25 years, the Rotary Club of East Moline-Silvis organizes “Job Shadow Day” in which a High School Senior is paired with a Rotarian or another professional in their chosen career field. The premise behind job-shadowing, enables a student to spend some time observing a professional in the career they are considering for their future.  For students who are unsure of what field they want to go into, job shadowing may reveal some inside information about the culture of that field instead of waiting until they graduate.
